What goes into the score
- Overdue tasks. Each overdue task drags the score down, weighted by its priority and how far past due it is.
- Asset age. Appliances with most of their expected lifespan remaining help the score; appliances well past end-of-life hurt it.
- Maintenance compliance. The ratio of tasks you complete on time vs. tasks due.
How often it updates
The score recalculates when you complete or dismiss a task, update an appliance, or when the nightly job runs. Expect a few-minute delay after a completion.
My score seems too low
Open Deferred Risk (from the Insights view) — it lists every overdue task with its specific cost-of-neglect contribution. Fixing the highest-dollar items first is the fastest way to move the score up.
Score history
We snapshot the score daily so you can see trend over weeks and months in the Insights dashboard. A score trending up means your maintenance habits are beating your home's wear rate — exactly the goal.
