How matching works

Every night we pull the latest recalls from the Consumer Product Safety Commission and match them against the brand + model combinations of the assets you've registered. Matches surface in the Recalls panel and trigger a notification.

Getting the most coverage

  1. Add every major appliance to your assets.
  2. Fill in brand and model exactly as they appear on the unit's nameplate.
  3. If a serial number is available, add that too — it helps with serial-range recalls.

What the alert includes

Each recall shows:

  • The issue description from the CPSC
  • Recall date
  • A direct link to the official recall page with remedy instructions
  • Which of your appliances matched
If a recall lists a safety hazard (fire, shock, injury), stop using the appliance and follow the CPSC remedy instructions immediately.
