Self-Cleaning Cycle

Most modern ovens have a self-clean function that heats to 900°F and burns off residue. Run it when you can open windows. Remove racks first. Takes 2-4 hours.

Manual Method

1. Make a paste of baking soda and water
2. Spread inside the oven avoiding heating elements
3. Let sit overnight (12 hours)
4. Spray with vinegar — it will foam
5. Wipe clean with damp cloths

Clean the oven every 3-6 months or whenever you see buildup.
